Angry! Let's get this 1 thing straight!

I AM ANGRY!!!! I’m so angry, I don’t even know if I can write this blog with a clear head.
I’m so angry because Christians are being labeled as hate groups. Because Christians, like Chick-fil-A’s owner Dan Cathy, believe in God and God’s definition of family.

Let me first get this out in the open.  I am a Christian, and I support family as God intends. I do not hate. I do not hate those who believe differently than I do. I do not hate those who hate me because of my beliefs. I.DO.NO.HATE! Yet thanks to the media and politicians, I am labeled as a hater. Christians are the farthest people group you can possibly have from haters. We love deeper than any other people group in this world. We pray for those who hurt us. We pray for those who oppose us.  We do not consider ourselves any better than any other people group.  But we do hold ourselves accountable a higher level of morals.

The mayor of New York, and San Francisco, and some other big cities would call me a hater. Because I practice my freedom of religion and freedom of speech, I am a hater. Because I believe God’s word to be true, I am a hater.  There are millions of people just like me being called a hater.  You know me. I am not a hater. I am strong and firm in MY beliefs.  I should be labeled as such…strong.  It takes a mighty strong person so stand against the world for one’s own beliefs. Christianity is becoming less and less popular by the day.  But I will not give into worldly views.

I have family and friends who would disagree with some of the things I say. But my family and friends know I love them no matter what.  I don’t judge them. My life is blessed to have them.

Bottom line… At the end of the day, and end of time, what matters is I lived my life for God. That I was strong and did not change my beliefs so the world and politicians would be happy.

So I urge all of you who have been swayed by the media to judge Christians, think again. Think about the people you are judging and feeling anger towards. It’s me. People just like me.
